Beams and Timber Frames

South East Forestry supplies construction grade beams up to 7:3m in length and can supply anything from a single beam to a full timber-framed building. Just email or phone us with your cutting list and we will supply a free, direct-from-the-forest, competitive quote. Most of our oak beams are of boxed heart, although on occasions we supply non-box beams out of larger timber.

Green Oak Beams

Most of our green oak beams for trade, professional and domestic customers are sawn to order at our sawmill at Hawkhurst in Kent. Just tell us what grade you require, how much character you are looking for and the sizes you need – and we’ll do the rest. We supply beams up to 7:3m in length in multiple grades and we cut beams and planks to a maximum width of 36 inches (900mm).

Our locally sourced, fully traceable English Oak is also popular with domestic customers, who appreciate that they are buying something that was once part of the local landscape we all love and appreciate.

Green Oak Joists and Project-defining Braces

Our green oak joists are sawn to the correct technical specification as well as matching the customer’s visual ambitions for the project. Because oak is a natural product, no two joists are the same; you can trust us to come up with the right timber for your project. Larger green oak joists can be sawn to order for external purposes such as garden bridges.
