Green Oak Planks

South East Forestry supplies green planks to domestic and retail customers from its sawmill in Hawkhurst, cut to the required thickness and available in lengths up to 7:3m and a maximum width of 36 inches (900mm). Green oak planks are suitable for most outdoor applications including decking, jetties, bridges, boat houses and cladding.

Air-dried Oak Planks

Our air-dried oak planking has a minimum heartwood of 4 inches (100mm). These planks are cut from around the edges of a large beam log, which gives them character. They can be used for oak floor boards, skirting, architraves, doors, kitchen worktops and other feature joinery.

Oak Cladding

Our square and waney edge oak cladding is cut to order and available in lengths up to 7:3m.

Sweet Chestnut Waney Edge Cladding

We are now also providing sweet chestnut waney edge cladding. Our quality chestnut has an excellent lifespan and gives a lovely finish.

Fencing Oak

Our sawn oak fencing is durable enough to stand the test of time for more than 20 years. It looks good and will add natural elegance to any boundary. We supply sawn oak and sweet chestnut fencing.
